Transmitting from New York (via Toronto), Jex aka Jex Opolis has so far been known as the man behind and in front of the Good Timin label. Infamous for its boogie burner bombs to quote Discogs member Kutter Karlo Jex, trades his label for Running Back and a shifts the gear. Up with the tempo and down with the lights, there still is a variety of styles. Studio E is named after an after hours spot in Edmonton that the record s author partied at in the early 2000s, also sounds like something Ivan Smagghe would have enjoyed at that point in time. Laxmi Tool is referencing classic tribal house and a street in Pune, where Jex wifes grandma bought the drum used in this track. On the flip, Harpa brags and boasts with its trampoline bass line, while La Casa surfs some timpani waves.
